A graduate of Stanford University, P.S. Foley is a writer, filmmaker, and entrepreneur. He has written five books including Riding Godzilla and West Newport Blues. His most recent films are the award-winning documentary Home of the Brave – the story of a fighter pilot who sacrificed his life, and the short films Pilgrimage Japan and Kathy’s Venice Dream. His film credits also include Mask, Illegally Yours, Texasville, The Dark Wind, and The Thing Called Love.
Foley has studied with several spiritual teachers and has traveled the world to honor and deepen his connection to the mystery that sustains him. He has walked The Camino de Santiago, hiked the mountains of Japan to sixteen Buddhist temples and, most recently, traveled to Lourdes, France, Patmos, Greece and Kusadasi, Turkey in honor of the Holy Mother. For Foley, the mystery is in the places and amazing people he meets along the way, and his hope is that these experiences find their way into the words of his books. Foley’s journey to the jungles and mountains of Peru in search of Pachamama inspired The Adventures Of Storm.
He lives with his wife, artist Kathy Estocin Foley, and their dog Sonnet and Merlyn the cat in Sedona, Arizona
